USA SUMMER LINEUP READY FOR "PSYCH"

USA Network Announces New Original Series

(Los Angeles, CA - Feb. 17, 2006) USA Network is building on its 2006 original programming slate with an 11-episode order for the one-hour series PSYCH, starring James Roday ("Dukes of Hazzard," "Miss Match"), Dule Hill ("The West Wing") and Corbin Bernsen ("Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang," "LA Law"). Series is executive produced by Steve Franks ("Big Daddy"), in association with Tagline Pictures' Kelly Kulchack and Chris Henze and NBC Universal Television Studio. The announcement was made today by Jeff Wachtel, USA's executive vice president, original programming.

PSYCH is a perfect fit with our programming strategy of great shows based on fun and unique characters," said Wachtel. "From pitch to pilot, it's been a tremendous experience. The writing is fresh. The chemistry of the cast is extraordinary. It isn't easy to create a drama infused with comedy, and PSYCH just knocks it out of the park."

PSYCH, centers on Shawn Spencer (Roday), who possesses uncanny powers of observation honed by his police officer father, Henry (Bernsen), who drilled young Shawn to note even the smallest details of his surroundings. When Shawn is accused of committing a crime that he actually solved for the police department (by calling in a tip), he convinces the cops that he's a psychic, and with the reluctant assistance of his best-friend Gus (Hill), Shawn starts solving cases for an ever-skeptical - but grudgingly impressed - police force.

USA Network is cable television's leading provider of original series and feature movies, sports events, off-net television shows, and blockbuster theatrical films. USA Network is seen in over 89 million U.S. homes. The USA Network Web site is located at www.usanetwork.com. USA Network is a program service of NBC Universal Cable a division of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.
