The second broadcast of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE delivered CBS's best demographic and viewer tallies in the time period this season while posting impressive across-the-board growth in week two, according to preliminary Nielsen affiliate ratings for March 20.
At 9:30PM, the second episode of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (9.8/14), viewers (15.30m), adults 25-54 (6.7/14) and second in adults 18-49 (5.2/12, -0.3 behind FOX).
Compared to last week's premiere, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +1% in viewers (from 15.09m), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 6.0/13), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/11) and +3% in adults 18-34 (3.4/09 from 3.3/08). Of the three sitcoms in this time slot this season, this is the first series to improve in its second week.
At 9PM, TWO AND A HALF MEN was Number One in households (10.6/15), viewers (16.94m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (5.5/13, with FOX).
CSI: MIAMI capped the night with a dominating performance, placing first in households (12.8/21), viewers (19.52m), adults 25-54 (8.1/19), adults 18-49 (6.5/17) and adults 18-34 (4.6/13). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC and ABC combined in households (vs. 10.1/16, +27%), viewers (vs. 14.81m, +32%), adults 18-34 (vs. 4.2/13, +10%), adults 18-49 (vs. 5.4/14, +20%) and adults 25-54 (vs. 6.5/16, +25%). This is CSI: MIAMI's best households and adults 18-34 delivery since 1/9/06 and best viewer, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 performance since 1/30/06.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.9/15), viewers (15.34m), adults 25-54 (6.4/14) and adults 18-49 (5.1/12) for the second consecutive week.

This is CBS's best delivery in the time period this season in viewers and adults 25-54, matches the best delivery in adults 18-49.
Compared to last week's premiere, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up slightly in viewers (from 15.09m), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 6.0/13), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/11) and +3% in adults 18-34 (3.4/09 from 3.3/08).
