CBS brings the curtain down on the 2005-2006 television season with a May sweep filled with surprising twists and dramatic turns on the season finale cliffhangers of its hit series.
Also in May are the finales of the Network's two signature reality series -- SURVIVOR and THE AMAZING RACE, and specials, including the 41ST ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, KEITH BARRY: EXTRAORDINARY, featuring the magician and illusionist in his first network special, DYNASTY REUNION: CATFIGHTS & CAVIAR and A DR. PHIL PRIMETIME SPECIAL: ESCAPING DANGER.
Among the season finales, Charlie and Mia plan their wedding on TWO AND A HALF MEN; the life of a CSI team member hangs in the balance while a colleague is put in charge of their fate on CSI; a suspect opens fire at the FBI offices on WITHOUT A TRACE; who is leaving the "NCIS" team?; Horatio Caine gets married on CSI: MIAMI; a psychopath uses riddles and clues to baffle the behavioral analysis team on CRIMINAL MINDS; Melinda battles an evil force who is trying to keep plane crash victims from crossing over on GHOST WHISPERER; and Ted makes one last attempt to win over Robin while Marshall and Lily's relationship is jeopardized on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
CBS's signature reality series come to their conclusions when the winner of SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND is crowned in a special two-hour finale, followed by SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND REUNION, live from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, hosted by Jeff Probst, while the final three teams head to the finish line in the two-hour finale of THE AMAZING RACE 9.
The month's specials include the 41st ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, hosted by Reba McEntire live from the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas; KEITH BARRY: EXTRAORDINARY, in which magician and psychological illusionist Keith Barry displays his vast array of magic skills on celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Matthew McConaughey, Elijah Wood, Nicollette Sheridan, David Krumholtz, Rachel Hunter and others; and DYNASTY: CATFIGHTS & CAVIAR, which reunites the stars of the long-running primetime soap as they celebrate one of the most popular series in television history.
