"Jesse Stone" Improves Upon the CBS Sunday Movie Average By +46% in Viewers and +14% in Adults 25-54
The CBS SUNDAY MOVIE ("Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise") starring Tom Selleck ranks as CBS's second best movie delivery of the season in viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings for Sunday, April 30.
"Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise" was second in households (9.8/15) and viewers (14.76m) and posting a 4.0/09 in adults 25-54 (-0.1 behind NBC) and 2.7/06 in adults 18-49 (2.7/06). This is the CBS SUNDAY MOVIE's second best delivery this season in both households and viewers (behind "Hallmark Hall of Fame: Silver Bells" on 11/27/05), the best delivery in adults 25-54 since 12/18/05 ("The Christmas Blessing") and in adults 18-49 since 1/29/06 ("Hallmark Hall of Fame: The Water is Wide").
Compared to the last "Jesse Stone" movie (1/15/06), CBS was up +13% in households (from 8.7/13), +6% in viewers (from 13.97m), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/08) and +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/06).
Compared to the season average of the CBS SUNDAY MOVIE, "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise" was up +46% in both households (from 6.7/10) and viewers (from 10.08m), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/08) and even in adults 18-49.
