CHERYL STANLEY NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, CURRENT DRAMA PROGRAMS, ABC ENTERTAINMENT
Cheryl Stanley has been named vice president, Current Drama Programming, ABC Entertainment, it was announced today by Kim Rozenfeld, senior vice president, Current Drama Programming, ABC Entertainment. In this role Ms. Stanley will oversee current drama programs for ABC, where she will be a point creative and administrative executive.

Previously Ms. Stanley was an agent for Kaplan, Stahler, Gumer and Braun Agency, where she represented clients across the spectrum from executive producers and directors to staff writers. She was also responsible for negotiating deals, staffing, directing and overall development. Prior to that, she was a manager/producer with Management 360, where she was the executive producer of Touchstone pilot scripts �The Bureau,� for ABC, and �Nitghtwatch� for UPN.
Ms. Stanley was head of Literary Management with the Talent Entertainment Group, where she was responsible for development, representation and career management of clients. While there, she also won an Emmy as executive producer for �American High.�
Before that she also served as vice president at Tidewater Entertainment, where she worked on �Esau� (Touchstone), �Excellent Cadavers� (HBO) and �Deadly Feasts� (HBO). She was the executive in charge of development, production and administration with a first look deal at Disney/Touchstone Studios.
Ms. Stanley began her career at Fifth Avenue films, where she was a production coordinator. She quickly advanced to Advertising and Marketing manager at Miramax film. From there she moved on to 20th Century Fox, where she worked with the Feature Film Development and Production Team. She has also been employed by The Walt Disney Company, Synder/Carr Productions and Quincy Jones / David Salzman Entertainment.
