'I'VE GOT A SECRET' Marathon to Air June 22
Host Bil Dwyer Does Live Interstitials On Marathon
Episodes Feature Secrets Involving President George W. Bush, Matthew
McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 12 -- I'VE GOT A SECRET, GSN's
remake of the beloved game show classic, will be showcased in a Marathon of
six hysterical episodes on Thursday, June 22 (9:00 PM - 12:00 EM EST). Host
Bil Dwyer will provide commentary and introduce the episodes live. GSN will
also air selected "Viewer Secrets" taped across the country in GSN's "I've
Got a Secret" mobile recording studio. Additionally, viewers can send in
their secrets to be read by Dwyer by logging onto GSN.com.
Among the five episodes' highlights are secrets involving Jennifer
Lopez, Matthew McConaughey and President George W. Bush; a secret revealed
by guest star Corbin Bernsen and a special appearance by the Mini KISS
Tribute Band.
I'VE GOT A SECRET is hosted by Dwyer ("Extreme Dodgeball," "That 70'S
House"), who is charged with keeping his panelists in line as they unleash
a barrage of questions on each contestant. The panel includes Frank DeCaro
(Sirius Radio's "The Frank DeCaro Show," "The Daily Show with Jon
Stewart"), Billy Bean (former outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers and
Detroit Tigers), Suzanne Westenhoefer ("Late Show with David Letterman,"
"Politically Incorrect") and Broadway actor and dancer Jermaine Taylor.
During each half-hour show, the contestant (or guest) whispers their
secret to Dwyer while it is simultaneously revealed to the live studio
audience and viewers at home. Each panelist puts the guest through the
ringer for 40 seconds, asking yes or no questions to figure out their
secret. If they are unsuccessful, the next panelist gets their shot at
cross-examining. Should the guest stump the panel, they walk away with cash
and prizes.
I'VE GOT A SECRET is produced by Burt Dubrow Productions. Dubrow ("The
New Tom Green Show," "Jerry Springer") and Jean Wiegman ("Trivia
Unwrapped," "The New Tom Green Show") serve as executive producers.
