PENELOPE ANN MILLER AND ESAI MORALES JOIN CAST OF NEW FOX DRAMA "VANISHED"
As the anticipation grows for the series premiere of VANISHED, so does the cast, with Golden Globe nominee Penelope Ann Miller ("Carlito's Way") and Esai Morales ("NYPD Blue") joining the new and intriguing FOX drama. VANISHED, which combines the investigative twists and turns of "CSI," the nonstop pace and tension of FOX's "24" and the scope of "The Da Vinci Code," will air Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) this fall on FOX.
Miller joins the series as Jessica, the ex-wife of prominent Georgia Senator Jeffrey Collins (John Allen Nelson), whose current wife has inexplicably disappeared. Morales plays Kyle Tyner, supervisor of the high-stakes FBI investigation team of Graham Kelton (Gale Harold) and Agent Len Mei (Ming-Na).
At the center of VANISHED's mystifying story is Sara Collins (Joanne Kelly), the beautiful young wife of Senator Collins, who has gone missing. As the FBI tracks this high-profile case, Agents Kelton and Mei uncover enigmatic clues that suggest Sara's disappearance may be part of a vast, sinister conspiracy. Meanwhile, ambitious reporter Judy Nash (Rebecca Gayheart) attempts to capture every twist and turn of the biggest story in her career.
VANISHED, produced by 20th Century Fox Television, was created by Josh Berman ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"). Mimi Leder ("The Peacemaker," "Deep Impact") directed the pilot. Berman, Leder and Paul Redford ("The Unit," "The West Wing") serve as executive producers.
