CBS extended its summer winning streak to nine consecutive week in viewers and four in adults 25-54 as the Network notched six of the week's Top 10 most watched programs including Number One WITHOUT A TRACE, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 30, week nine of the 2006 summer season.

All editions of CBS's two summer reality shows -- ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA and BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS -- either won their respective time periods outright in viewers and key demographics and/or posted week-to-week increases.

For the week in viewers, CBS (7.25m) topped NBC (6.29m), FOX (5.47m) and ABC (5.04m). Summer-to-date in viewers, CBS (7.55m) CBS leads NBC (6.36m), FOX (5.89m) and ABC (5.35m).

For the week in households, CBS (4.9/09) was +17% ahead of NBC (4.2/07), +40% ahead of FOX (3.5/06) and +44% ahead of ABC (3.4/06). Summer-to-date, CBS is first in households (5.1/09) and leads NBC (4.2/08) by +21%, FOX (3.8/07) by +34% and ABC (3.6/07) by +42%.

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.1/07, -0.1 behind FOX). Summer-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.1/07, with NBC and -0.3 behind FOX).

? BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS TUESDAY finished first in viewers (7.27m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09), adults 18-49 (2.9/09), adults 18-34 (2.5/09) and second in households (4.6/08, -0.1 behind FOX). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS TUESDAY was up +2% in households (from 4.5/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/09), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/08), +9% in adults 18-34 (from 2.3/08) and added +380,000 viewers (from 6.89m, +6%).

? BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS THURSDAY won its 8:00PM time slot in households (4.4/08), viewers (7.01m), adults 25-54 (2.8/09), adults 18-49 (2.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.3/09) for the fourth consecutive week.

? BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS SUNDAY was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.7/08, with NBC), second in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.27m), adults 18-49 (2.3/07, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-34 (1.8/07). BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS SUNDAY was up +3% in households (from 3.9/07) +2% in viewers (from 6.14m) and even in adults 18-49 compared to last week.

? ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY (3.9/06, 6.19m) posted a 3.2/08 in adults 25-54, 2.8/08 in adults 18-49 and 2.3/07 in adults 18-34. Compared to the performance show last week, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY was up +8% in households (from 3.6/06), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/08), even in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and added +260,000 viewers (from 5.93m, +4%).

? ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA WEDNESDAY (3.4/06, 5.47m) posted a 2.7/08 adults 25-54, 2.3/08 in adults 18-49 and 1.7/06 in adults 18-34. Compared to last week, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07) and +21% in adults 18-34 (from 1.4/05).

? CSI: (R) (9:00-10:01 PM) was first in households (7.1/12), viewers (10.42m) and adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.1/09, behind FOX).

? WITHOUT A TRACE (R) was first in households (7.3/13), viewers (10.52m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). WITHOUT A TRACE was the week's most watched program.
