HBO Receives 26 Primetime Emmy� Awards, the Most of Any Network This Year; Elizabeth I Leads All Shows With 9 Emmys�

HBO received 26 Primetime Emmy� Awards, the most of any network, in the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy� Awards competition. The awards received by the network this year reflect the diversity of HBO's original programming, ranging from series and original movies to documentaries and family specials.

Elizabeth I topped HBO's list of winners with 9 awards, the most Emmys� of any show on TV this year. Baghdad ER and Rome both received 4 awards, while The Girl in the Cafe received 3 awards.

HBO's Emmy� wins this year include:

-- 9 Emmys� overall for Elizabeth I including Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Helen Mirren), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Jeremy Irons), Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Tom Hooper), Outstanding Costumes for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special, Outstanding Hairstyling for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special, Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special, Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or Movie and Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries or a Movie.
