CBS CREATES NEW MUSIC POSITION FOR ITS NETWORK AND TELEVISION STUDIO

Amy Osler Named Vice President, Music, CBS Entertainment and CBS Paramount Network Television

Newly Created Position Will Bridge the Network and Studio with the Music Industry to Facilitate the Creative Placement of Music Across All Programming Dayparts

Music industry veteran Amy Osler has been named Vice President, Music, CBS Entertainment and CBS Paramount Network Television, reporting to both David Stapf, President, CBS Paramount Network Television and Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events, CBS Entertainment.

In this newly created position, Osler will serve as the liaison between the Network/Studio and the music industry, responsible for identifying new and established performers whose music or personal appearances can be integrated into CBS Paramount and CBS Network-produced programming across all dayparts.

Osler will work with artists, managers, producers, writers, publishers and record companies, in conjunction with music supervisors, to secure creative placement of recorded and live music in CBS and CBS Paramount Network television programs.

"Music is a great artistic compliment in the creative process and Amy brings a fresh new perspective to integrating contemporary music into our programming," said Stapf. "She will work closely with our producers to creatively weave music and live performances into their storylines, as well as help facilitate new opportunities for artists through new business strategies."

"I've worked with Amy for many years during her time at Columbia Records and I'm now thrilled to have her on our team," said Sussman. "With Amy on board, CBS will continue to be the Number One destination when the music industry thinks television."

From 2004-2006, Osler was Vice President of Television Marketing for Columbia Records, where her job responsibilities included securing placement of current and catalog music in television shows, as well as creating performance opportunities for artists in primetime and daytime television.

During her tenure, she secured music placement for singer Anna Nalick on "Grey's Anatomy," the Dixie Chicks in last season's finale of "Medium" and, most recently, a two-song performance by John Mayer in the season premiere of CSI. At Columbia, she also worked with such artists as Destiny's Child, Jessica Simpson, John Legend, Switchfoot, Five For Fighting and Train.

Osler began her music industry career at MCA Concerts where she worked from 1991-1995. She transitioned to Sony Music/Columbia Records where she spent nine years (1995-2004), including the last seven as Vice President of Media for Columbia Records, responsible for placing the company's artists on all late night television shows, award shows and specials in a performance capacity as well as acting roles.

Osler is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelors degree in general studies.
