FAN FAVORITE JANE LEEVES RETURNS TO NBC FOR 'TWENTY GOOD YEARS'

BURBANK, Calif. October 17, 2006 Accomplished actress Jane Leeves, who played the popular character of Daphne Moon on NBC's "Frasier," returns to NBC in a special guest-appearance on the new comedy "Twenty Good Years," (Wednesday, October 18 at 8:30 PM ET/PT).

"John and Jeffrey are two incredible actors, and it was a true pleasure, not to mention loads of fun, to work with both of them," said Leeves.

In this episode, Leeves plays Mary Francis, a beautiful woman who becomes the object of both John (John Lithgow) and Jeffrey's (Jeffrey Tambor) affections after they meet her in an underground nightclub. To their bewilderment, Mary (Leeves) announces she wants to date both of them.

Leeves has made her mark in the world of film, theater and television. Television audiences know her as 'Daphne Moon' the warm-hearted working-class physical therapist from Manchester, in NBC's "Frasier," a role that garnered her an Emmy award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination. She's also known for her portrayal of "Audrey Cohen,' the girlfriend of 'Miles Silverberg' on "Murphy Brown," and she had the distinction of playing the virgin who beds JFK Jr. in one of the most talked about episodes of "Seinfeld."

Leeves' feature film credits include the independent film "The Event," Miramax's "Music of the Heart," opposite Meryl Streep, Aidan Quinn and Angela Bassett, the remake of "Miracle on 34th Street," "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life," "The Hunger," "Mr. Write," and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," opposite Anthony Edwards & directed by Britain's leading play producer, Bell Kenwright. Leeves also provided the voice of 'The Ladybug' in Tim Burton's screen version of Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach." In this film, Leeves charmed audiences with her singing ability.

Leeves currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.

"Twenty Good Years" is produced by Werner-Gold-Miller and Marsh McCall Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Tom Werner ("The Cosby Show," "Roseanne"), Marsh McCall ("Just Shoot Me"), Jimmy Miller, and Eric Gold ("Scary Movie," "Scary Movie 2") are the executive producers.
