NBC.COM ADVANCES CAROLE PANICK TO VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL CONTENT and DEVELOPMENT

BURBANK � November 27, 2006 - NBC.com has promoted Carole Panick to Vice President Digital Content and Development. The announcement was made today by Vivi Zigler Executive Vice President, NBC Digital Entertainment and New Media, who oversees digital entertainment content for NBC's website and broadband channels.

Panick reports directly to Stephen Andrade, Senior Vice President Digital Development and General Manager, NBC.com. Zigler reports to Jeff Gaspin, President NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, Digital Content and Cross-Network Strategy.

"Carole is a valuable asset for the nbc.com team and it is my pleasure to announce her promotion," said Zigler. "She has worked tirelessly to ramp up our digital efforts and to create compelling content for NBC.com. We all want to acknowledge her efforts thus far and position her for continued contributions."

Panick, who had been Senior Director, Digital Content and Development, will be responsible for managing entertainment content for NBC.com, which often ranks as the number one broadcast network website. She will also develop exclusive and original online content to compliment all network daypart programming. As a senior member of the NBC.com management team, Panick is charged with providing both creative and operational direction for all site content features.

Since re-joining NBC in 2001, Panick has produced or overseen a number of groundbreaking web projects for NBC including exclusive online interviews, photos, games, contests, character sections and podcasts for "ER," "Law & Order," "Friends," "American Dreams," "The Apprentice," "Frasier," "Will & Grace," "The Biggest Loser," "The Tonight Show," "Days of our Lives" and others. She has also produced photo coverage content for live events such as "The Emmys" and "The Golden Globes," as well as being this year's online Emmy blogger for both NBC.com and "Access Hollywood."

Previously, Panick worked at Fox.com where she oversaw content for the website. Prior to that, she worked as a Junior Account Executive and then writer for the Print Advertising department at NBC. Panick holds a B.A. in Sociology from UCLA.
