ITUNES PROVIDES A SNEAK PEAK TO FANS OF NBC'S RETURNING 'SCRUBS' WITH A FIRST LOOK OF THE UPCOMING MUSICAL EPISODE
BURBANK - December 1, 2006 - Beginning today on iTunes, fans of NBC's returning comedy "Scrubs" (Thursdays, 9-9:30 p.m. ET), now in its sixth season, can get a sneak peak of the highly anticipated musical episode scheduled to air in January. The first look is a video montage set to the original song "Guy Love," sung by cast members Donald Faison and Zach Braff concerning their characters' unique friendship.
The duet is available for free download from now through the end of February.
Life is but a song for the cast of "Scrubs" when they star in their own musical featuring songs written by the Tony Award-winning composers of "Avenue Q," Robert Lopes and Jeff Marx. The episode features original "Avenue Q" cast member Stephanie D'Abruzzo as a patient who checks into Sacred Heart complaining of hearing incessant music and the hospital is turned into a stage. The episode is scheduled to air on January 18.
"Scrubs" recently returned to NBC's primetime schedule on November 30 to begin its sixth season.
"Scrubs" is produced by Touchstone Television. Bill Lawrence ("Spin City") is the executive producer and creator.
