AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK HONORING COPS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK has taken the unprecedented step of ending our GIFT OF JUSTICE show by honoring the names of more than 130 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in 2006. The full list will be featured on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED airing Saturday, Dec. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
The FOX show runs a short profile of a fallen officer in every episode, but this week AMERICA'S MOST WANTED is proud to be the first primetime program to pay respect to all the brave men and women who give their lives to protect ours.
The list touches police departments all across the country and Americans overseas. It is a list of selfless courage and heroism officers downed in gunfire, hit by cars, caught in explosions. As we see on every episode of AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, law enforcement is a dangerous profession, and the danger is taken on for others and for society. As a society, we thank them for the ultimate sacrifice and hope that next year, there will be no names to roll because no officers gave their lives for their job. Host John Walsh says, I know of no other profession where, when a person goes to work in the morning, he's not sure he'll see his children that night. Every one of these people is truly a hero.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED; AMERICA FIGHTS BACK is produced by STF Productions, Inc. Lance Heflin is Executive Producer.
