HALLMARK CHANNEL SURPASSES 75 MILLION SUBSCRIBER BENCHMARK
Hallmark Channel has surpassed the 75 million subscriber benchmark � a terrific accomplishment for the family-friendly network which celebrated its five-year anniversary in August, according to Nielsen Media Research�s January 2007 Universe Estimate (UE). The network posted an impressive increase of 739,000 subscriber homes month-to-month (Jan �07 vs. Dec �06).
Hallmark Channel added 4.34 million homes year-to-year (Jan �07 vs. Jan �06), and nearly 43 million subscribers since the channel�s launch in August �01. This increase gives the network the third largest subscriber increase among all Nielsen measured cable networks.
The network recently launched on Comcast Cable in Sacramento, Calif. and in Boston, including the New England area.
