VH1'S ONLINE MUSIC SERIES 'BOX SET' MOVES TO LINEAR TV FOR THE FIRST TIME
WITH 'BOX SET: GWEN STEFANI'
ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 24 AT 11 PM*
'LIVE@VH1.COM: NORAH JONES' LAUNCHES ONLINE TUESDAY, JANUARY 16
PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 11 -- VH1's "Box Set," a made-for-
broadband original music program, is migrating to VH1's linear channel this
month for the first time with "Box Set: Gwen Stefani," a music
retrospective that includes a compilation of the artist's music videos,
performances, and exclusive interview clips. "Box Set: Gwen Stefani" will
premiere on VH1 on Wednesday, January 24 at 11 PM*. It will also be
available on demand on VSPOT, VH1's broadband channel beginning the same
day.
"Box Set" joins other VH1 music series and programs such as "You Oughta
Know," "Hear Music First," and "Live@VH1.com" in the growing list of VH1's
made-for-broadband franchises that have made the uncommon shift from online
to on-air. Included in "Box Set: Gwen Stefani" are exclusive,
never-before-seen interview clips of the artist as she walks through the
videos she's created as a solo artist, including the latest hits from her
second solo album, The Sweet Escape (Interscope).
VH1's in-studio performance series "Live@VH1.com" kicks off the new
year with "Live@VH1.com: Norah Jones," launching on VSPOT on January 16.
The Grammy-winning artist will perform acoustic versions of "Little Room,"
"Until The End," "Thinking About You," and "Sinking Soon" -- four songs
from her upcoming third album, Not Too Late (Blue Note). Additionally,
beginning January 23, fans can stream Norah Jones' Not Too Late in its
entirety, exclusively on VH1.com through its "Hear Music First" program,
one week before the album is released.
