Dedicated to expanding its network and channel brands across multiple platforms and connecting viewers with their favorite shows anytime and anywhere, Disney-ABC Television Group announced today that it is giving viewers a chance to watch the Lost Survivor Guide prior to its network premiere, beginning TUESDAY, FEB. 6 on ABC.com and Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com).
Lost Survivor Guide will explore the series in a way that will bring new viewers up to date -- but which current viewers will also find illuminating in anticipation of the return of the series third season, on WEDNESDAY, FEB. 7 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET). Hosted by executive producers Damon Lindelof (also a co-creator of the show) and Carlton Cuse, the special focuses on the flashbacks of a core of characters -- illustrating who they were and what they were doing before the crash, and how the island has changed their lives, for better or worse. In addition, the island itself will be explored culled from events that have taken place which may reveal some of its secrets that might have been missed upon first viewing.
In addition to the Lost Survivor Guide special, ABC.com has made available all six of this seasons previously aired episodes on its broadband video player. ABC.com has also added several new features on its Lost site, including a new video podcast with executive producers Lindelof and Cuse, which includes a special sneak peek at extra content from the series Season Three DVD, which will be released later this year. Additionally, visitors to ABC.com will find a new exclusive feature entitled Writers Rotation that showcases the favorite music and listening selections of members of the Lost production team and an updated version of Lost & Found, which highlights not-to-be-missed moments in upcoming episodes, as well as excerpts from the official Lost magazine, updated games, photos and video clips.
From Touchstone Television, Lost stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry OQuinn as Locke.
