The event kicked-off with Shatner riding in on a white horse to thunderous applause. Shatner then assumed the position of Roastee while seated on stage in the original "Star Trek Enterprise" Captain Kirk chair. Roast Master Jason Alexander served up his own zingers at everyone's expense that kept the crowd laughing the whole evening. Roasters included Andy Dick, Greg Giraldo, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Lampanelli, Artie Lange, Nichelle Nichols, Patton Oswalt, Kevin Pollak, Jeffrey Ross, Sharon Stone, George Takei, Betty White and Fred Willard.
