Artificial Life, Inc. and The CW Television Network Announce Launch Of "America's Next Top Model" 8 Mobile Game New Game Includes Advanced Features
March 27, 2007 (Burbank, California) - Hong Kong based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTC BB: ALIF), a leading provider of award-winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications, and The CW Television Network today announced the launch of America's Next Top ModelTM Cycle 8 mobile game on The CW mobile storefront (http://www.cwtv.com/) as well as on Artificial Life's m-commerce portal (http://www.botme.com/). The game will soon be available on carrier decks around the globe.
In the mobile game, which is tied closely to the hit television series America's Next Top ModelTM (ANTM), players will train an avatar representing one of the participants from the show to become a top model. When a participant is eliminated from the show, the corresponding avatar will be removed from the mobile game. Mini-games based on the modeling challenges from the ANTM show will be unlocked in the game each week after an episode airs.
vDepending on the carrier and the specific capabilities of a player's handset, the following features may be available: streaming animated videos of the avatars, sending an avatar "on vacation" to a friend's phone, receiving voice calls and text message updates. Players have the option to choose between a full game version targeting higher-end handsets or several smaller game versions for lower-end handsets and a series of mini-games.
In the U.S., the ANTM mobile game is available for $5.99 to download. The mini-games based on the show will soon be offered separately for $2.99.
"This new mobile game provides consumers with an opportunity to become more involved and connected to America's Next Top Model and the participants. The incredibly unique feature of synching the game with what's actually happening on the series will literally enable fans to take Top Model wherever they go," said Rick Haskins, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy.
"This new version of the America's Next Top ModelTM mobile game has a lot of innovative gaming features. We have integrated show synchronization and IVR technology to make the game play more exciting. ANTM fans will surely love these newly added features," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
