SUPERSTAR JENNIFER LOPEZ TO MENTOR TOP 8 AND PERFORM ON "AMERICAN IDOL" TUESDAY, APRIL 10, AND WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11, ON FOX
Superstar Jennifer Lopez will work with the Top 8 finalists next week on a Latin-themed AMERICAN IDOL Tuesday, April 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), and will perform her new single "Qu Hiciste" on the AMERICAN IDOL results show Wednesday, April 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX
Lopez is a Platinum-selling vocalist, movie star, movie producer and entrepreneur. She began a new phase in her career with the March 27 release of her first all-Spanish album, "Como Ama Una Mujer" (How a Woman Loves), on Epic Records. An electrifying concept album of state-of-the-art Latin pop, it marks Lopez's growth into a new musical maturity, with lyrics telling a dramatic story of love and separation, and the courage necessary to find hope and new beginnings. Lopez will perform her propulsive single "Qu Hiciste" (What Did You Do?) live on the results show.
Twenty-two-time Emmy-nominated AMERICAN IDOL is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, founder of 19 Entertainment; and executive-produced by Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO, FremantleMedia North America, Inc.; Nigel Lythgoe, President, 19 Television; and Ken Warwick, Executive Producer, FremantleMedia North America, Inc.
