Caped Crusader Pairs With Martian Manhunter to Combat Alien Destruction of Gotham in Two-Part Episode to Air on Consecutive Saturdays April 28 & May 5
BURBANK, CA (APRIL 20, 2007) - Three-time Emmy Award winner "The Batman" offers a thrilling finale to its season - and drops illuminating hints about its future - with the action-packed, two-part episode "The Joining," airing on consecutive Saturdays, April 28 and Saturday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT on Kids' WB! on The CW, the No.1 rated Saturday morning kids broadcast slate.
In "The Joining," Gotham faces its most devastating threat ever - an alien invasion. Simultaneously, new detective John Jones (aka Martian Manhunter) arrives in Gotham and hints to Batman that he may know the Caped Crusader's secrets. Batman must uncover this mysterious figure's true identity and intentions and while combating the aliens. Ultimately, Batman discovers that even the greatest heroes must employ teamwork to save the day.
Guest stars lending their voices in the "The Joining" include Dorian Harewood ("Full Metal Jacket") as detective John Jones/Martian Manhunter and Academy Award� winner Louis Gossett, Jr. ("An Officer and a Gentleman") as Lucius Fox.
