Mother's Day and Memorial Day Are Blooming With New Series and Movie Marathons
BURBANK, Calif. � May 1, 2007 � Universal HD only brings the finest and most desired programming in sports, movies and series to their loyal viewers this month.
If viewers missed the live telecast or want to relive it, Universal HD hooks them up with an encore presentation of The Players Championship on May 1 at 3pm and 8pm (ET). Universal HD brings back the quality too. The tournament will once again be broadcast in native 1080i High Definition with 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound ensuring viewers feel like they are getting an on-the-green experience.

It's Mother's Day and Universal HD wants all the mothers and their families to relax with series and movies celebrating moms. A marathon begins on May 13 with back-to-back episodes of Sons & Daughters at 2pm (ET) followed by back-to-back episodes of Northern Exposure at 3pm (ET). Sunday night is reserved for laughs with Leave It to Beaver at 8pm (ET), Monk at 9:30pm (ET) and a little drama as Susan Sarandon fights to save her son in Lorenzo's Oil at 10:30pm (ET).
Viewers can gear up for a high-octane Toshiba Action Weekend coming the third week in May. Saturday, May 19 jump-starts the excitement as Toshiba presents episodes of Jeep World of Adventure Sports HD then expect more episodes on Sunday, May 20. There will also be action-packed films to enjoy. On Saturday tune-in for Ride the Wild Surf at 9am (ET), The Hunted at 4pm (ET) and Sudden Death at 6pm (ET) and the Sunday slate includes Judgment Night at 4pm (ET), Spy Game at 11pm (ET) and finally the ultimate adrenaline rush with the premiere of Days of Thunder starring box-office hit maker Tom Cruise at 8pm (ET).
Universal HD has viewers covered with a Conviction Memorial Day marathon. On May 28 from 2pm to 8pm (ET) the first six episodes of Conviction run back-to-back. Immediately following is the The Life of David Gale starring Kevin Spacey at 8pm (ET) and ending the night is an encore of the Conviction marathon at 10:30pm (ET).
