NORIKO GEE PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR, PROGRAM PLANNING & SCHEDULING, CBS TELEVISION NETWORK
Noriko Gee has been promoted to Director, Programming Planning & Scheduling, it was announced by Kelly Kahl, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming Operations, CBS Television Network, to whom she reports.
In her position, Gee is responsible for scheduling primetime series, specials and movies. She will also continue to contribute to the planning of the CW's schedule.
Gee had been Manager, Program Planning & Scheduling since February 2006, during which time she played a role in the Network's key scheduling move of THE AMAZING RACE and WITHOUT A TRACE to Sunday, which has significantly boosted their respective time period's ratings.
She began her career as an intern in the CBS research department in 2001 and, in 2002, was named a research analyst.
Gee moved into the Scheduling department in 2003 as a coordinator, working with the department to schedule series, movies, and specials for CBS and UPN.
Gee is a graduate of USC with a bachelor of arts in East Asian languages and cultures and also has an M.A. in communication management from the Annenberg School of Communication.
