FROM CAPITOL HILL TO 'THE HILL' IN PROVIDENCE - THE WEST WING'S JANEL MOLONEY JOINS SHOWTIME'S DRAMA SERIES 'BROTHERHOOD�' FOR FOUR EPISODES
Showtime's critically-acclaimed original series BROTHERHOOD�, which was recently honored with a prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, brings acclaimed actress Janel Moloney to the series for four episodes. Ten new one-hour episodes of Brotherhood� are scheduled to premiere this fall. The series currently stars Jason Isaacs, Jason Clarke, Annabeth Gish, Ethan Embry, Kevin Chapman, Fiona Erickson with Br�an F. O'Byrne and Fionnula Flanagan.
Moloney will play Dana Chase, an attractive, professional woman who mysteriously strikes up a relationship with Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) that further complicates his duplicitous life. Moloney was nominated twice for an Emmy�-Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2002 and 2004 for her work on The West Wing. Her film credits include The Souler Opposite, Desperate Measures and Til There Was You. Moloney also starred in Showtime's award-winning movie Bang, Bang, You're Dead.
One of the most critically praised series of last year and honored with a prestigious Peabody Award in the Entertainment Series category - the only cable series to be recognized in the category - BROTHERHOOD� is set against the disparate worlds of politicians and mob bosses and examines the balance between good and evil. Set in a fictional Irish neighborhood in Providence, Rhode Island, known as "The Hill," the series revolves around the Caffee brothers, who despite being on opposite sides of the law, are determined to protect the neighborhood and what is theirs by any means necessary.
