The Talent to Host ABC "Fun in the Sun," Festival Concerts and Meet Fans
For the first time stars of ABC's "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" will make an appearance during the 2007 Country Music Festival (June 7-10) in Nashville. The four-day party and music celebration will air as a special, "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock", MONDAY, JULY 23 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. ABC Daytime will air taped interstitials, July 17-23, at the beginning and the mid-break of the daytime dramas leading to the primetime special.
"We are delighted to have ABC daytime stars participating in the Festival for the first time," said CMA COO Tammy Genovese. "Some of the actors were in Nashville for the CMA Awards last year and were an immediate hit with our fans and artists. There really are a lot of similarities between the two and at the heart of both industries is a dedicated fan base. It is a pleasure to welcome them to our premier concert event."
"We're thrilled to participate in this year's CMA Music Festival to reach out to our fans and to meet new ones," said Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group. "Many of our actors cross over into the music world on Broadway and in Country, and we share many of the same fans."
Actors include:

"One Life to Live" -- Kathy Brier (Marcie McBain), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex Balsom)

Their most anticipated appearance will be at ABC's "Fun in the Sun," a free fan event Saturday, June 9 (1:30-3:30 p.m.) at the Wildhorse Saloon. During the event, fans will have an opportunity to be on TV and get up-close and personal with their favorite stars.
