SLEUTH LAUNCHES ON DEMAND
Fans Can Watch Favorite Mystery and Crime Shows Anytime With Sleuth On Demand
Advanced Cable Communications, Buckeye CableSystem and Mediacom Among Participating Affiliates
Englewood Cliffs, NJ � (June 11, 2007) � Sleuth, NBC Universal's 24 hour mystery and crime channel launches its Free On Demand package June 21 to a participating systems including Advanced Cable Communications, Buckeye CableSystem, Choice Cable, Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico, Mediacom Communications and Vista III Media.
Sleuth On Demand will offer approximately 20 hours of content featuring films and classic TV series. At launch, episodes from the first seasons of "Miami Vice," "Rockford Files" and "Conviction," the most recent series by Dick Wolf. Additional series to be featured include the original "Dragnet" series and "Simon & Simon," where brothers partner as private detectives.
In addition, Sleuth On Demand will showcase five films at any time, beginning with movies such as "Double Indemnity," and "Tank," starring James Garner and C. Thomas Howell. Future titles include "Dragnet," with crime-fighting duo, Tom Hanks and Dan Aykroyd, "Pure Luck" and the Oscar�-nominated international thriller, "The Day of the Jackal." Both TV episodes and film content will be refreshed on a regular basis.
