NBC SIGNS NEW SERIES DEAL WITH NORMAN LEAR TO PRODUCE HOUR-LONG DRAMEDY SERIES BASED ON SINGLE MOTHER'S BATTLE OF THE SEXES ON WALL STREET

Reveille and Universal Media Studios to Also Produce Series

UNIVERSAL CITY, California July 16, 2007 -- NBC has signed a series deal with legendary, Emmy Award-winning television producer Norman Lear ("All in the Family") to join Reveille, Act III Productions, and Universal Media Studios in producing a one-hour dramedy focused on a mother who reenters the work force and is pitted against her late husband's ruthless partner in a money-charged battle of the sexes on Wall Street.

The announcement was made by Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios.

"Norman Lear is an idol of mine and bringing his voice back to network television is the fulfillment of a personal dream," said Silverman. "The series will push the envelope by tackling gender issues through comedy, character and emotion."

"This series is emblematic of the creative direction we are taking our development slate," said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment. "We cannot wait to get to work with our new creative partners."

"Working with Ben Silverman and his team and Todd Cohen and Reveille has been a delight so far," said Lear. "I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes when the going gets tough!"

Nina Colman is the writer and creator of the project and will serve as an executive producer along side Norman Lear's Act III productions, in association with Reveille and the newly named Universal Media Studios (formerly NBC Universal Television Studio).

Lara Bergthold will serve as executive producer on behalf of Act III Productions. In addition, Todd Cohen, VP, Domestic Scripted Television, will oversee on behalf of Reveille.

A multiple Emmy winner as executive producer of the classic comedy "All in the Family," the prolific Lear's Tandem production company went on to change the face of American comedy in the 1970s with Lear as executive producer of such additional groundbreaking hits as "Maude," "Good Times", "The Jeffersons", "One Day at a Time", "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" and "Forever Fernwood." On the big screen, he also was executive producer of "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Stand by Me" and "The Princess Bride," and he earlier produced "The Night They Raided Minsky's" and "Cold Turkey." In 1984, Lear was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame.

Norman Lear is Chairman of Act III Communications, a multimedia holding company of which Act III Productions is a part of, with interests in the recording, motion picture, broadcasting, publishing, and licensing industries, including Concord Music Group, Village Roadshow Pictures Group, and Act III Licensing. Along with Hal Gaba, CEO and President of Act III Communications, Lear recently announced the creation of the Hear Music Record label, a joint partnership between Starbucks Entertainment and Concord Music Group.

Colman had previously developed a pilot with Reveille for The WB and they, along with Laurence Mark, are producing her feature, 867-5309. She recently finished "All's Fare in Love" for Offspring Entertainment and last season developed a pilot for Mark Gordon and ABC.

Founded in March 2002 by Ben Silverman (now Co-Chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios), Reveille is a leading independent production and distribution company focused on exploiting worldwide intellectual property rights through scripted and alternative television formats. Reveille produces innovative entertainment programming across all television genres such as the Emmy Award-winning "The Office" (NBC); "Ugly Betty" (ABC); "The Biggest Loser" (NBC); "30 Days" (FX); "Blow Out" (Bravo); "Bound for Glory" (ESPN); "Nashville Star" (USA) and "Date My Mom" (MTV), to name a few.

Reveille is also the world leader in creating integrated marketing opportunities for leading advertisers while developing alternative financing paradigms. In addition, Reveille distributes its growing library of programming, along with a broad array of programming acquired from independent producers and U.S. networks, to more than 150 countries worldwide through Reveille International. The company also creates, acquires and develops a broad slate of diverse films through its feature film division, Reveille Motion Pictures.
