SCI FI CHANNEL AND G4 TO SHARE OFF-NET CABLE RIGHTS TO "LOST"

New York/Los Angeles October 16, 2007 SCI FI Channel and G4 have secured off-network cable rights to ABC's Emmy-Award winning, hit series "Lost" from Disney-ABC Domestic Television. The deal gives both G4 and SCI FI rights to existing episodes of "Lost," which the networks will debut in primetime in fall 2008, extending through all six seasons of the series.

"'Lost' is an incredible series that has captured the imagination of the viewing public, and SCI FI is extremely proud to add Lost to our programming lineup," said Thomas Vitale, SCI FI's Senior Vice President of Programming and Original Movies. "SCI FI's broad base of viewers will be able to experience the 'Lost' phenomenon many for the first time ever in a pure form, stacked in weekly mini-marathons, which we believe is the best way to get involved with this critically acclaimed program. And on SCI FI's HD feed, many viewers will be able to enjoy the spectacular detail and visual beauty of the series."

"'Lost' is one of the most engaging and groundbreaking series on television today and we are thrilled to have the flexibility to air the series both in its original form and with an innovative '2.0' update," said Neal Tiles, President, G4. "By adding interactive, on-screen elements, we are creating a way for fans to experience 'Lost' in an entirely new way. G4's signature '2.0' features have proven to resonate with the network's young male audience and this extraordinary franchise will be an excellent addition to our line-up."

Fans can get "Lost" all over again with SCI FI's weekly 4-hour primetime stack of the hit drama beginning in the fall of 2008. SCI FI will be the only place on television to see weekly mini-marathons of the popular drama, allowing viewers to remain engaged with the exciting and often surprising ongoing storyline. Additionally, SCI FI has obtained the right to stream a limited number of episodes of 'Lost' on SCIFI.COM, the most heavily trafficked destination for the genre on the Internet.

G4, the network that's plugged into what young men want, is adding an extensive interactive update to "Lost," which will offer audiences a variety of ways to participate during each episode. "Lost 2.0" will feature multiple interactive and web-enabled elements, tapping into a huge online following that the hit series has generated since its inception. G4 additionally obtained exclusive cable weekend rights for the series, as well as the right to stream a limited number of episodes of the series on the network's popular web site, G4tv.com.

The multiple Emmy Award-winning "Lost" is an action-packed mystery-adventure series set on a tropical island. Plane crash survivors must battle the bizarre island and each other to stay alive. "Lost" stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry O'Quinn as Locke. "Lost" was created by Jeffrey Lieber and J.J. Abrams & Damon Lindelof. "Lost" is from ABC Studios and is executive-produced by Abrams, Lindelof, Bryan Burk, Jack Bender and Carlton Cuse. The series, which recently completed its third season, is filmed entirely on location in Hawaii and premiered on ABC in September 2004.

SCI FI Channel is a television network where "what if" is what's on. SCI FI fuels the imagination of viewers with original series and events, blockbuster movies and classic science fiction and fantasy programming, as well as a dynamic Web site (www.scifi.com ) and magazine.
