OCTOBER ROAD RETURNS FOR SECOND SEASON

SEASON PREMIERE

NICK AND EDDIE TAKE A ROAD TRIP TO NEW YORK TO RETURN OWEN TO HIS ESTRANGED WIFE AND KIDS, ON THE SECOND-SEASON PREMIERE OF "OCTOBER ROAD," THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22, ON ABC

Can you ever really go home again? That's the question that confronts acclaimed novelist Nick Garrett when he returns home -- after being away for ten years -- to take up an offer to teach a one-day course at Dufresne College in his native Knights Ridge, Massachusetts. But once back, Nick finds the response to his homecoming less than effusive; he's had no contact with family or friends since leaving, and some resent how they were portrayed as characters in his novel. "October Road" returns for a second season THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

In the season premiere episode, "Let's Get Owen," Nick and Eddie head to New York in an attempt to bring Owen back to his estranged wife and family in Knightsridge, and Hannah comes to terms with her true feelings for Nick.

"October Road" will air in its regular time-slot the following Monday, November 26, from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET.

The series stars Bryan Greenberg as Nick Garrett, Laura Prepon as Hannah Daniels, Geoff Stults as Eddie Latekka, Brad William Henke as Owen Rowan, Jay Paulson as "Physical Phil," Tom Berenger as "The Commander," Evan Jones as Ikey, Slade Pearce as Sam, Warren Christie as Ray Cataldo, Odette Yustman as Aubrey, Rebecca Field as Janet and Lindy Booth as "Pizza Girl."

Guest starring in "Let's Get Owen" are Elizabeth Bogush as Alison Rowan, Will Sasso as Big Boy Brett, Michelle Lombardo as Amiquay, Kofi Natei as Cyrus and Tim Chiou as young dude.

The episode is written by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg, and directed by Gary Fleder.

"October Road" is executive produced by Scott Rosenberg, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, and Gary Fleder. The series is a production of ABC Studios.

"October Road" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to the airdate.
