'MAURY' CELEBRATES 10th ANNIVERSARY WITH SPECIAL SHOW

Special Celebrity Appearances From The View, Jimmy Kimmel, Rascal Flatts, Larry King, The TODAY Show and More; Memorable Guests From The Past Decade and Where Are They Now Updates

MAURY: Wednesday, November 7 In National Syndication

NEW YORK - November 5, 2007 - On Wednesday, November 7, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's hit talk show MAURY celebrates 10 seasons on the air with a special hour featuring some of its most memorable guests and moments from the past decade (check local listings).

Also featured on the special anniversary episode are celebrity well-wishes from the ladies of "The View", Jimmy Kimmel, Rascal Flatts, Joan Rivers, Jerry Springer, the hosts of The "TODAY" Show, Larry King, Jack Hannah, and host Maury Povich's wife Connie Chung, among others.

The following guests appear on the "10 Years of MAURY" special to share their updates and how their lives have changed for the better since their first appearance on the show:

New York City resident Sibylla Zain and her daughters Brittany and Tiara first appeared on MAURY four-and-a-half-years ago after a fire ripped through their home and they lost everything. MAURY helped the family refurnish their home and begin to rebuild their lives. The Zains share how the show changed their lives and what and how they've been doing since their tragedy. To help celebrate their new life, MAURY sends the family to see their favorite entertainer Fantasia, in "The Color Purple" on Broadway.

Denver, Colorado area resident Melissa Dehart was five-foot-six and just 58 pounds the first time she appeared on the MAURY show five years ago. At that time she was battling an extreme eating disorder and was on the verge of death. MAURY sent Melissa to a rehab facility to try and get better, and then a few months later brought her back to the show to meet her idol, Tracy Gold, who has also struggled with an eating disorder. Although meeting Tracy was an inspiration, Melissa did not fully face her problem until she hit rock bottom and finally decided it was time to change. Melissa visits the show to report that she is doing well, but knows that she will battle her addiction on a daily basis.

Minneapolis, Minnesota area resident Hannah Kritzeck returns to MAURY for her sixth appearance on the show. Hannah is a primordial dwarf who first appeared on the show when she was four-years-old. She is now 12-years-old, 37-inches tall, and weighs 25 pounds. When she's not in school or cheerleading, Hannah appears in movies and plays. Hannah told the MAURY show that her favorite actress is Hannah Montana. As a gift to Hannah, Maury presents her with every single Hannah Montana item available, and gives her tickets to see her in concert at an upcoming show in Minneapolis.

Lexington, Kentucky area resident Alexis Finley first appeared on MAURY three years ago when she was nine-years-old, along with her father, Bruce Finley. Alexis was quickly losing her eyesight and her one wish was to see her long-haired biker dad made-over before she lost her vision completely. The father and daughter team are back on MAURY to report on how they are doing. Because Alexis loves to swim competitively, Maury gives her a $1,000 gift certificate to swimoutlet.com so that she can buy all the swimming supplies that she might need.

Colorado Springs area resident Rosemarie Siggins first appeared on MAURY almost ten years ago. One of the things that makes Rosemarie unique is that she has no lower body. Since she first appeared on MAURY almost a decade ago, Rosemarie married and has had two children after very dangerous pregnancies. To help celebrate all the good things that have happened over the years, Maury is sending the family to see their favorite band, Rascal Flatts, when they come to Colorado.

"MAURY," which is produced by Universal Talk Television LLC and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic television in national syndication, is taped at NEP Studios in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Paul Faulhaber is executive producer. John Pascarella is supervising producer.
