ROCKET AND THE MUGGS ARE ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND"
ONE MORE BAND WILL GO HOME AND THE TOP 7 BANDS PERFORM LEIBER & STOLLER SONGS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16, ON FOX
The competition narrowed tonight on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND as host Dominic Bowden announced that both Rocket and The Muggs received the fewest votes after last week's Top 10 performance show, and therefore were eliminated from the competition. Rocket is a pop/punk band from Los Angeles, CA and The Muggs are a classic rock band from Detroit, MI. The remaining Top 8 bands each performed a Billy Joel song on tonight's show.
Next week, one more band will be eliminated based on tonight's voting results, and the Top 7 bands will perform Leiber and Stoller songs in front of a live studio audience on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND Friday, Nov. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
