NBC.COM AND iVILLAGE.COM PARTNER WITH 'THE BIGGEST LOSER' TO OFFER TIPS FOR A HEALTHY HOLIDAY SEASON

"The More You 'No'" Gives Users Healthy Holiday Ideas

BURBANK and NEW YORK November 29, 2007 - NBC.com and iVillage.com are partnering with "The Biggest Loser" on healthy-holiday themed suggestions and content "The More You 'No.'" The sites will help users "just say no" to holiday temptations and excuses as well as offer healthier alternatives to holiday traditions. The announcement was made by Vivi Zigler, Executive Vice President, NBC Digital Entertainment and Linda Boff, Chief Marketing Officer, iVillage.

The "More You No" section on NBC.com will feature tips from trainer Jillian Michaels and show nutritionist/chef Cheryl Forberg, RD. Users will also find lighter recipes for traditional high-calorie holiday favorites, techniques to cut down on holiday over-eating, smart suggestions for enjoying holiday treats and strategies to keep the workouts going through the cold weather.

"'The Biggest Loser' has done a tremendous job raising awareness across the country about the quest for healthier living," said Zigler. "We are delighted to partner with iVillage to get the word out further and offer our collective users help and support through the holiday season."

iVillage.com will feature special recipes directly from "The Biggest Loser" cookbook, so viewers can enjoy some of the delectable, healthy snack alternatives from the show. Additionally, in the spirit of making minor, yet significant changes during the daily grind, iVillage is sponsoring a 6 - week fitness challenge where participants will be motivated by nationally renowned diet and exercise experts to offer helpful, simple tips on getting healthy and staying healthy into the New Year. For added inspiration, "Biggest Loser" contestants will blog on iVillage.com, sharing behind the scenes insight from their time on the show, and details about their journey to get fit.

"Our diet and exercise challenges bring together women from all over the country who want to get in better shape but don't want to go it alone. The built-in support system from fellow participants, as well as the guidance from our coaches, will help keep everyone on track," said Boff. "'The Biggest Loser' content is a great way to remind people to say no to holiday temptations."
