CHILLER SCARES UP A FEBRUARY AND BRINGS "PROFIT" AND "MILLENNIUM" BACK FROM THE DEAD
BURBANK, Calif. � January 28, 2008 � Viewers will spend the 29 days of February on edge as Chiller brings back fan-favorites, themed movie marathons and a spine-tingling Valentine's Day of programming. Audiences will be kept in suspense with fan-favorites "Profit" and "Millennium" - with never-before-seen episodes, a marathon of "Tales From The Darkside" and movies featuring cameo appearances by A-list stars.
"Chiller has a great line-up for February including rarely seen films with some of the best actors of our time," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable. "Bringing Profit and Millennium back to TV is exactly what Chiller fans want and expect."
Beginning on Thursday, February 7 at 8pm, 11pm and 2am (ET), Chiller will air "Profit," starring "Heroes'" Adrian Pasdar as businessman/villain Jim Profit. The first three episodes of the series will air back-to-back on Monday, February 18 from 10am � 1pm, 4pm � 7pm and 12am � 3am (ET), followed by never before aired episodes in weeks to come.
Monday, February 4 marks the start of "Millennium," the thrilling series from the producers of "The X-Files," starring Lance Henriksen as a member of a mysterious organization that hunts serial killers. This series will air regularly Monday-Friday at 7pm and 3am (ET).
Themed movie nights become eerie when Chiller digs up rare movies starring award-winning actors including Tom Hanks, Tim Robbins and George Clooney. On Friday, February 22, viewers can see Tom Hanks in the first two movies of his career, "He Knows You're Alone" and "Mazes and Monsters." Saturday, February 23 brings George Clooney in "Return to Horror High," a chilling role that gave him is start in feature films. Also on Saturday, Tim Robbins gives a nightmare-inspiring performance in the twisted "Jacob's Ladder." Other gruesome tales include episodes of "Tales from the Crypt" featuring A-list stars Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt, as audiences rarely see them.
Chiller delivers a ghastly group of movies on Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, featuring the dark side of love. The holiday kicks off with "Alfred Hitchcock Hour: The Tender Poisoner" at 6am and 12pm (ET). "Tales from the Darkside: Everybody Needs a Little Love" and "Tales from the Darkside: Anniversary Dinner" will air back to back at 7am, 2pm and 5pm (ET). Hold on to your loved one at 8am and 3pm (ET) for "Friday the 13th: The Series: Cupid's Quiver." Two episodes of "Tales from the Crypt: Lover come Hack to Me" and "Loved to Death" follow at 9am and 6pm (ET). The fright fest keeps going with the movie "Daddy's Girl" at 10am (ET), "The Sixth Sense: With This Ring, I Thee Kill" at 1pm (ET) and the movie premiere of "Zombie Honeymoon" at 9pm and 12am (ET).
On Sunday, February 2, viewers are in for back-to-back episodes of the bone chilling series "Tales from the Darkside." The marathon, from 6am to 9am and 5pm to 8pm will lead up to the premiere of the terrifying "Tales form the Darkside: The Movie" starring the famed Julianne Moore and Deborah Harry at 9pm and 12am (ET).
