Special Beatles Segment to Feature the Casts of "The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil" and "Across The Universe"
Natalie Cole, Juanes, Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler and Bonnie Raitt Are the First Presenters To Be Announced
GRAMMY� Award nominees Feist, Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, and the casts of "The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil" and "Across The Universe" in a special Beatles segment, have been set to perform on THE 50TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 10 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Natalie Cole, 12-time Latin GRAMMY Award winner Juanes, GRAMMY Award winner Cyndi Lauper, three-time GRAMMY Award winner Bette Midler and nine-time GRAMMY Award winner Bonnie Raitt will present. They join previously announced performers Beyonc�, Foo Fighters (with special guest conductor John Paul Jones), Carrie Underwood, 2008 MusiCares Person of the Year Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, the Clark Sisters, Israel And New Breed and Trin-I-Tee 5:7 in a special gospel segment, and Rihanna with a reunited The Time in a special 50th anniversary segment.
Feist, Alicia Keys and Brad Paisley all are multiple nominees. Feist has four nominations: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Short Form Music Video.
Nine-time GRAMMY Award winner Alicia Keys is nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song (along with Dirty Harry and Kerry Brothers).
Brad Paisley has three nominations: Best Country Collaboration with Vocals (with Carrie Underwood), Best Country Instrumental Performance and Best Country Album.
In the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media category, both "Across The Universe" (Various Artists) and "Love" (the Beatles) are nominated.
