IT'S MI-5, NOT 9-5, AS SEASON FOUR BLASTS ON TO BBC AMERICA
-BBC AMERICA Channel Premiere-
BBC AMERICA brings electrifying drama to Wednesday nights with season four of its BAFTA award-winning thriller, MI-5. Emotions run high as the battleground of national security gets personal. With two of their colleagues gone, the team must stay focussed as they face demons from their past and race against time to prevent lethal terrorist attacks. MI-5 season four immediately follows season three and premieres Wednesday, May 21, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The new season begins with a gripping, two-episode storyline, as London is hit by a terrorist attack. The terrorist group promise to detonate further bombs across the UK capital if their leader isn't freed, leaving the spies at MI5 just hours to prevent a deadly catastrophe.
At the grid, Harry's (Peter Firth, Pearl Harbour) old flame - Juliet Shaw (Anna Chancellor, Four Weddings and a Funeral, St. Trinians) - arrives to help, but he soon finds himself caught in a power struggle. Juliet tries to blackmail him into supporting her bid for the Security and Intelligence Coordinator job, but he refuses to be manipulated and tenders his resignation. Meanwhile, Adam (Rupert Penry-Jones, Persuasion, Match Point) battles with his conscience, when one of the bombs is found underneath a hospital. To save the hospital from devastation, will he be forced to let a brave and innocent young woman die?
Season four takes the team on another hair-raising ride through the uncertain world of national security, and there's a high price to pay as they battle to protect their families, their integrity, and most of all their nation, from the evil forces within.
