CLASSIC CARS AND TIMELESS EPISODES IN THE U.S. PREMIERE OF TOP GEAR'S SIXTH SEASON
Fans of BBC AMERICA'S International Emmy-winning car show, Top Gear, can catch up on the earlier antics of the intrepid trio - hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - and the mysterious 'The Stig - with the U.S. premiere of Season Six. The team pit a Range Rover against a tank, race from London to Norway, try to outrun Irish Army snipers in convertibles and count down the greatest driving songs of all time.

Once again The Stig puts the rich and famous through their paces in the 'Star in the Reasonably Priced Car' feature. Getting behind the wheel on the test track this season include Timothy Spall (Harry Potter), The Darkness' Justin Hawkins, Sir Tim Rice, and BBC Radio personality Chris Evans.

Episode One
Jeremy test-drives the Mercedes CSL, James reviews the Honda Element, and James and Richard play soccer in the Toyota Aygo.

Episode Two
Jeremy, Richard and James find out if you can buy a stylish two-door coup� for less than �1,500. Jeremy takes a look at Maseratis past and present and a chance for viewers to think about the Greatest Driving Song of All Time.

Episode Three
Jeremy makes a splash when he opens a local swimming pool - Richard finds out what happens when you take the roof off an Aston Martin DB9 with the new DB9 Volante -James goes back to the '70s with the Maserati Bora and Germany and Russia give their interpretations of the classic British sports car with the Weismann MF3 and TVR Tuscan 2. The Batmobile from Batman Begins is in the studio.

Episode Four
Jeremy, Richard and James hand over reporting duties to their mothers, who review a range of new small cars including the Renault Modus, Honda Jazz and Peugeot 1007 while the Cadillac CTS-V takes to the track, and Richard tests the new BMW 3 Series.

Top Gear returns to the '60s to define 'cool' with the Aston Martin DB5 and Jaguar E-Type. Jeremy comes under fire from army snipers to find out which car is better - the Porsche Boxster S or Mercedes SLK while James road tests the Nissan Murano.

Is a car faster than a boat? Top Gear decides to find out, via an epic race from London to Oslo with Jeremy in the Mercedes McLaren SLR and Richard and James on a boat.

Which is faster, a man or a car? Jeremy races a compact car against a marathon runner around the London Marathon route during rush hour.
