TLC GIVES THREE SINGLE MOMS THE CHANCE TO EXPLORE A WHOLE NEW ROLE
New Docu-Series "Must Love Kids" Premieres July 15 at 9:00PM ET/PT
New York, NY July 3, 2008 On July 15, 2008, TLC will premiere "Must Love Kids," a new hour-long docu-series that follows three single mothers as they embark on an emotional journey involving family, love, and self-worth. It was announced today by Brent Zacky, VP of Programming.
The dating world can be daunting for anyone looking for love, but for a single parent, trying to find the perfect balance between a relationship, a career, and raising young children can be extremely time-consuming and intimidating. Viewers will be enthralled as these three women step out of their comfort zone and give themselves the opportunity to meet someone specialpotentially, a life-long partner.
With an estimated 10.4 million single mothers in the U.S., these three single moms will undoubtedly inspire others to take the initiative and focus on their own happiness, while still being able to balance the responsibilities of a single parent. Its a real-life journey of love and family in an original relationship series unlike any other.
"Families come in all shapes and sizes, but whether youre raising a child on your own, or with a partner, your child always comes first," explains Zacky. "Most single parents dont take time out for themselves, whether it be for dating, socializing or even a quick trip to the mall. I think a lot of our viewers will be able to relate to the challenges these three women face in their everyday lives, and will be rooting for them as they embrace their newfound approach to dating and happiness in general."
