"GREEK" HEADS BACK TO CAMPUS FOR ITS SOPHOMORE SEASON, PREMIERING TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, AND "LINCOLN HEIGHTS" RETURNS FOR SEASON THREE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (July 17, 2008) - Paul Lee, president, ABC Family, announced today the premiere dates for two of ABC Family's hit original series, "Greek" and "Lincoln Heights." "Greek" will return for its sophomore season on Tuesday, August 26 (9:00 10:00 p.m. ET/PT) while "Lincoln Heights" returns for its third season on Tuesday, September 16 (8:00 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). "Greek" will return with ten all-new episodes airing through October, and "Lincoln Heights" will also return with ten all-new episodes airing through mid-November. The premiere date for "Greek" marks a change in both date and time for the show, having previously aired on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. Viewers who want to catch up on campus antics from the show's first season can tune in to a nine-hour "Greek" marathon that day (08/26) from 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

"Greek" will pick up as Spring Break is over and the gang returns to campus for the conclusion of their school year. The upperclassmen explore new relationships that turn love triangles into quadrangles, and academic aspirations take fascinating turns as the upcoming senior year looms. As initiation approaches, the freshman pledges' devotion is put to the test to determine whether they're accepted into the fraternities and sororities. Created by Patrick Sean Smith, "Greek" is executive-produced by Piller/Segan in association with ABC Family. The cast includes Jacob Zachar as Rusty, Spencer Grammer as Casey, Scott Michael Foster as Cappie, Jake McDorman as Evan, Clark Duke as Dale, Dilshad Vadsaria as Rebecca, Paul James as Calvin, Amber Stevens as Ashleigh and Tiffany DuPont as Frannie.

"Lincoln Heights," the critically acclaimed and multiple NAACP Image and NAMIC Award-nominated series, follows the lives of the Sutton family, led by Eddie, an ambitious police officer who moved his wife and three kids to the inner-city neighborhood where he was raised, with hopes of cleaning it up and making a difference. This season Cassie and Charles take their relationship to new heights and Tay and Lizzie also delve further into their passions - Tay starts creating his own music, and Lizzie gets recruited to attend a prestigious private school. Eddie and Jenn meet a powerful new family who promise better things for the community, but despite early signs of renewal in the neighborhood, their changes may not be what's best for the Heights. The cast includes Russell Hornsby, Nicki Micheaux, Erica Hubbard, Mishon Ratliff, Rhyon Brown, Robert Adamson and Michael Reilly Burke. Kathleen McGhee-Anderson is executive producer/showrunner, David Ehrman and Dawn Urbont are co-executive producers, Dayna Lynne North is supervising producer and Kevin Inch serves as a producer. "Lincoln Heights" is produced by ABC Family.

Part of the Disney-ABC Television Group, ABC Family, distributed in over 95 million homes, features original movies, series and specials reflecting today's families and entertaining and connecting with adults through relevant stories about today's relationships, all told with diversity, dysfunction, passion, humor and heart.
