AMERICA CHOOSES INSPIRATIONAL SINGER DONALD BRASWELL AS THE 'AMERICA'S GOT TALENT' 'WILDCARD' ACT ROUNDING OUT THE 'TOP 40'
On Tonight's Live Show 5 Acts from Tuesday Night's Performance Move on to the Top 20 and the Next 10 Acts from the Top 40 Perform
BURBANK, Calif. � August 27, 2008 � During last night's episode of NBC's hit summer series, "America's Got Talent," it was announced that America chose singer Donald Braswell to round out the show's top 40. America voted, via www.NBC.com, for Donald Braswell to take the wildcard spot after the Russian Bar Trio had to leave the competition due to a serious injury. Braswell will perform live on "America's Got Talent" Wednesday, September 3.
On tonight's two-hour live show host Jerry Springer will reveal which 5 acts, out of the 10 that performed Tuesday night, will move on to be a part of the top 20. Also, in this evening's show are the next 10 acts in the top 40.
The 10 acts performing tonight are:
Paul Salos, Garland, Texas (Frank Sinatra impersonator)
The Wright Kids, Rocky Mount, Virginia (family band)
Spc. Daniel Jens, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (singer/musician)
Queen Emily, Stockton, California (singer)
Jonathan Arons, New York, New York (dancing musician)
Beyond Belief Dance Company, Mesquite, Texas (dance troupe)
ZOOperstars, Louisville, Kentucky (acrobatic dance troupe)
George the Giant, Bakersfield, California (giant/side show performer)
Kazual, Columbus, Georgia (boy band)
Slippery Kittens, Salt Lake City, Utah (burlesque dancers)
The million-dollar winner will be announced during the live finale on Wednesday, Oct 1 (9-10p.m.).
