LYONS & BAILES REEL TALK KICKS OFF ITS SECOND SEASON IN NATIONAL SYNDICATION WITH SPECIAL "BEST OF THE YEAR... SO FAR" EPISODE

NEW SEASON TO FEATURE WEEKLY NEW SEGMENTS INCLUDING "NEW ON BLU" AND INTERACTIVE "FINAL TAKES"

NEW YORK, NY, Sept. 4 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's "Lyons & Bailes Reel Talk" is kicking off its second season in national syndication with a special episode that will review the best films of the year...thus far and the weekly movie review series is adding several new segments this season including "New on Blu."

The special episode, "Best of the Year...So Far," will air this weekend in national syndication (Sept. 6 & 7--check local listings) and feature hosts and renowned critics Jeffrey Lyons and Alison Bailes' top five film selections of the year, up to this point. With a slate of monster hits like "The Dark Knight," "Iron Man" and "Wall-E," as well as acclaimed indie films like "The Visitor" and "Elegy," the two critics have a lot of quality movies to choose from.

"Our special episode will take viewers back through the first eight months of the year and allow Jeffrey and Alison to share their top five selections thus far," says Producer Mike Avila. "And for our second national season, we are excited to bring a number of new elements to the show and to our re-designed website."

As "Lyons and Bailes Reel Talk" heads into its second season, the weekly series will continue to focus on the concise, razor-sharp reviews of the most anticipated movies each week to help audiences spend their hard-earned movie dollars wisely. Expect more top-level talent to drop by the show's New York studio to talk with Jeffrey and Alison. Recent guests have included Harrison Ford, Sarah Jessica Parker, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Will Ferrell, Mike Myers, Matthew McConaughey and Seth Rogen, among many others.

The show will continue to highlight the biggest new releases in home video and this season will add a new in-depth review of Hi-Def releases, "New on Blu," revealing a new title and/or a classic film arriving on the Blu-ray format. What's more, true cinephiles who crave extra details about the quality of the transfer to Hi-Def - everything from the audio quality to the graininess of the picture - can go to the show's website (http://www.ReelTalkTV.com) and get a detailed breakdown of that week's 'New on Blu' pick. "Reel Talk" Producer Avila will scope out each week's Blu-ray releases and give viewers his thoughts on our picks.

And for the first time, viewers will also be able log on to (http://www.ReelTalkTV.com.) and submit a topic or industry trend that they want Jeffrey and Alison to address during the "Final Takes" segment. The viewer whose suggested topic is chosen for that week will also get an on-air mention.
