LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX is giving "Do Not Disturb" a one-week vacation.
According to scheduling updates released by the network this evening, a double-dose of "'Til Death" has been slated for the 9:00/8:00c hour on Wednesday, October 1 ("Sugar Dougie" and "Philadelphia Freedom").
The following week on October 8, as of press time at least, "Disturb" will return with the "Pilot" episode. The installment ("Satisfaction") originally set for October 1 "will be rescheduled for a later date."
As previously announced, the third presidential election debate (October 15) and MLB playoff coverage (Game 1 of the World Series on October 22 and Game 6, if necessary, on October 29) will pre-empt first-run episodes of the network's Wednesday lineup (including "Bones") for the rest of the month.
Please note that all scheduling information is subject to change.
"Disturb" posted a modest 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 last night, making it the least-watched first-run program on the broadcast networks.
