truTV's is revving up the concept behind its popular series SPEEDERS� with the launch of SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK. This new series details the fascinating and often hilarious things people say and do in court in desperate attempts to get out of tickets. Premiering Oct. 16, SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK will air Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), following all-new episodes of SPEEDERS.
Based in Broward County, Fla., SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK shows everyday citizens who transform themselves into some of the wackiest legal eagles ever, giving viewers a laugh-out-loud trip to traffic court. From high-speed daredevils to in-your-face road-ragers, these amateur advocates will say and do anything to get out of a ticket. Experienced and tough, Chief Magistrate Brenda Di Ioia keeps everyone honest as they have their day in court.
Among the wackiest pleas and arguments featured in SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK are the following:
