"MADE" AND "TRUE LIFE" ARE BACK WITH NEW EPISODES ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30TH AND SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST
Los Angeles, CA � October 23, 2008 � MTV's Emmy-award winning series, "MADE" (http://made.mtv.com) and "True Life" (http://truelife.mtv.com) return with more eye opening episodes that allow viewers to spend a day in someone else's shoes. The new episodes start on Thursday, October 30th at 10pm ET/PT with "True Life, I'm Getting Married 2," Saturday, November 1st from 2pm ET/PT with "Made: Survivalists," "Made: Body Builder" and "Made: Streamer," then at 5pm ET/PT with "True Life: I'm in A Summer Share."
Below are detailed descriptions of the MADE and "True Life" episodes that are scheduled to air on Thursday, October 30th and Saturday, November 1st:
October 30th
10pm ET/PT - "True Life: I'm Getting Married 2" - In this episode of True Life you'll follow two couples as they try to overcome huge hurdles on their way to the altar. Sarah and Tristan thought that getting hitched on a beach in Mexico would be a laid-back affair. But they're finding that planning a wedding in a foreign country is full of surprises. Can they survive the last-minute shocks -- or will the stress be too much for them to bear? Jason is studying abroad and wants to throw a surprise wedding for his girlfriend at a chateau in the French countryside. But with only five thousand dollars to spend, he's not sure if he can make her idea of a dream wedding -- a reality. Can Jason blow her away -- or will Melissa be crushed that he couldn't live up to her expectations?
November 1st
2pm ET/PT - "MADE: Survivalists" - Best friends Amanda and Natalie are the ultimate pampered princesses. They tan 7 days a week and never leave the house without a full face of makeup. But these Daddy's girls want to take a break from shopping, brave the Alaskan tundra, and be MADE into extreme survivalists. Tempers will flare as they fend for themselves without credit cards, cell phones, or bathrooms.
3pm ET/PT- "MADE: Streamer" - Nerdy Harry-Potter fanatic Jamie Fitzgerald is fed up with being a sheltered book worm who has no friends. She's ready for the ultimate transformation. So she's being MADE into a confident, high kicking, pom pom shaking, social butterfly by becoming a member of her school's dance team - the Streamers.
4pm ET/PT - "MADE: Body Builder" - Southern mama's boy Cody Hammons is tired of being called a sissy. He wants to show everyone that he's tough, by being MADE into a body builder. Ready or not, Cody will have to bare all in an amateur body building contest at California's famed Muscle Beach.
5pm ET/PT - "True Life: I'm In A Summer Share 2" - Summertime has long been an opportunity for young people to get away from the stresses of life and have a little fun in the sun as thousands flock to resort beach areas and shack up with like-minded peers in summer shares. But what happens when your summer living situation becomes the source of your drama? In this episode of True Life you'll follow Karley in Ocean City, Maryland and JR in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as they deal with summer living situations that are less than desirable.
"MADE" (http://made.mtv.com) chronicles the challenges and accomplishments that young people face as they attempt a life-changing transformation. To assist on their journey in accomplishing their "makeover", MTV (http://www.mtv.com) provides a coach who doubles as a mentor.
