TLC WELCOMES YOU TO JOIN THE GOSSELINS' HAWAIIAN ADVENTURE AS JON AND KATE SAY "I DO"... AGAIN!
The Intimate Details of the Jon and Kate Plus 8 Wedding Event airs Nov 17, 2008 at 9PM ET/PT
October 27, 2008 --New York, NY--For Better or Worse, Jon and Kate Gosselin have shown that after almost ten years of marriage, they are more committed than ever to each other and their busy life together as parents of two sets of multiples. On Monday, November 17 at 9 PM ET/PT, this very special hour-long episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 follows the family as they head to the beautiful islands of Hawaii to prepare for Jon and Kate's vow renewals. As they go through the customary steps of planning a wedding--choosing the perfect cake, writing their own personal vows, and picking out the perfect attire for the occasion--Jon and Kate realize that this time around, their renewal ceremony will prove to be even more meaningful than the first one.
With never before seen footage from Jon and Kate's original wedding, viewers will witness just how far they've come from their days as a young couple starting out in marriage. As they pledge their love for one another once again, Jon and Kate are thrilled to have their children by their side serving as their "wedding party." Of course, it wouldn't be a Gosselin event without their unique real-life moments of chaos, such as Kate having to stop in the middle of the ceremony to discipline a child or two for being disruptive. The Gosselins also get to spend quality time with Jon's side of the family from Hawaii, most of whom could not make it to their wedding over nine years ago. With tender moments including the little girls getting their hair and nails done, to the young brothers and sisters slow dancing together at the reception, these heartwarming memories make this trip an unforgettable one for the Gosselins.
The family fun kicks off on Monday, October 27 with a four-part series of episodes leading up to the beach nuptials. Highlights include the family's visit to Legoland and the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, as well as their treasured experience in Hawaii filled with private lei making, hula lessons, cooking classes, and snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean.
