Each episode will follow the drama as homeowners transform their unused rooms, unfinished basements or garage apartments into beautiful rental spaces. These effective renovations, which incorporate clever design ideas, creative storage solutions and architectural elements such as crown molding and laminate flooring, also will add value to any home. In addition, Scott addresses safety issues, roof repairs and other challenges that will benefit the house and the homeowners in the long run.
