CMT CROWNS DENNIS RODMAN THE "CELEBRITY ALL-STAR WRESTLING CHAMPION" IN THE FINALE OF "HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING"
After Seven Intense Weeks Training, Dennis Rodman Rises Above the Rest and Wins the First Ever CCW Championship Belt
LOS ANGELES December 6, 2008 The competition began with 10 daring celebrity hopefuls wishing to fulfill their fantasies of becoming professional wrestlers, and ended with former NBA Champion Dennis Rodman declaring victory over Dustin Diamond from "Saved by the Bell," actor Todd Bridges from "Diff'rent Strokes," and Super Heavyweight boxer ButterBean. Each week the contestant who wasn't able to prove him or her self in the ring was deemed a "Jabroni" by Hulk Hogan and knocked out of the competition, until only one now is victorious. After the most intense match to date, Hogan immediately asked Diamond and ButterBean to leave the ring and it all came down to Dennis "Rodzilla" Rodman and "Mr. Not-So-Perfect" Todd Bridges. After a grueling match-up complete with table smashing and body slamming only Rodman remained standing. In the end, Rodman's dedication paid off and he was congratulated with the CCW belt and the title of "Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion."
HULK HOGAN'S CELEBRITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is developed and executive produced by Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey of Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment as well as Hulk Hogan. Melanie Moreau and Bob Kusbit are executive producers for CMT.
