SHE'S BAAAAACK! BRAVO GETS SERIOUS WITH ELITE MATCHMAKER PATTI STANGER ON "THE MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER"
Second Season Of The Hit Docu-Series Premieres Thursday, February 12 At 10 PM ET/PT
NEW YORK, NY December 9, 2008 Bravo and Patti Stanger take their relationship to the next level with the second season premiere of the hit docu-series "The Millionaire Matchmaker," Thursday, February 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. With her business booming and her notoriety increasing, Stanger is at the top of her game as owner of a Los Angeles-based elite matchmaking service in which she helps wealthy men find the women of their dreams. But this season, there's a twist, as Patti adds female millionairesses and gay millionaire clients to the mix.
"The Millionaire Matchmaker" follows Stanger and her dogged staff as they give their big-bucks clients complete transformations with the help of personal shoppers, date coaches and therapists. In each episode, two wealthy clients are set up on dates hand-picked by Stanger based upon their beauty and intelligence.
This season, Stanger will work with several female millionairesses, including a 40-year-old drop-dead gorgeous CEO of a high-end fashion label. Stanger relates to her by sharing her experiences with "ageism" in the competitive Los Angeles dating scene. In addition, Stanger signs on a gay millionaire, who owns his own successful branding business. A firm supporter of everyone's right to have committed love, Stanger believes "everyone has the right to marry, no matter what."
Stanger's passion for her work is intense she truly feels this is her life's calling. An experienced third-generation matchmaker, Stanger founded her company Millionaire's Club in January 2000. Previously, Stanger was the Director of Marketing for Great Expectations, the largest and oldest dating service in the United States. Her bluntness has made her infamous "redheads are not the freshest produce in the aisle," she famously said in season one but Stanger's big heart shines through with her genuine interest to find true love for her demanding and ever-growing clientele.
Returning this season is her loyal Vice President of Matching, Chelsea Autumn, and her former executive assistant, Destin Pfaff, who has been promoted and given additional responsibilities. Also joining Millionaire's Club is Pfaff's girlfriend, Rachel, who is the office's new assistant. And now that she has the two longtime lovebirds right under her nose, Stanger will do everything she can to encourage Pfaff to pop the question.
Stanger has also authored a book to be released by Simon & Schuster in January 2009 entitled BECOME YOUR OWN MATCHMAKER: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate.
Intiuitive Entertainment and Bayonne Entertainment produced the series, with Kevin Dill, Mechelle Collins and Rob Lee executive producing.
