Emily Blunt Makes Guest Voice Appearance in Episode
Fall Out Boy pays homage to their fans and the citizens of Springfield when they perform their rendition of THE SIMPSONS theme song during the end credits of the "Lisa the Drama Queen" episode Sunday, Jan. 25 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Named after the sidekick of THE SIMPSONS character Radioactive Man, Fall Out Boy will honor their namesake by recording their own version of the iconic theme song originally composed by Danny Elfman.
Additionally, actress Emily Blunt makes a guest voice appearance in the episode as Lisa's equally academic and creative new friend Juliet. Together they construct a fantasy world that takes them both a little too far from reality.
Formed in 2001 in the Chicago suburbs, Fall Out Boy, whose members are Patrick Vaughn Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andrew Hurley, recently released their critically acclaimed fourth album, "Folie Deux," and will embark on a nationwide tour this April.
THE SIMPSONS is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. Film Roman is the animation house.
