"JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" TO BROADCAST FOURTH CONSECUTIVE POST-ACADEMY AWARDS� SPECIAL, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22 ON ABC
The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" post-Oscar celebration will be broadcast LIVE from the El Capitan Entertainment Center in Hollywood on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22 (12:05-1:05 a.m., ET, approx), immediately following the late local news.
During last year's post-Academy Oscar special, Jimmy's star-studded revenge video featuring Ben Affleck responding to Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon's video was an instant viral sensation, garnering millions of hits. Celebrities who appeared in the video included Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Don Cheadle, Dominic Monaghan, Joan Jett, Perry Farrell, Lance Bass, Josh Groban, Pete Wentz, Huey Lewis, Macy Gray, Meat Loaf, Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden, Dick Barrett and many more.
The post-Oscar telecast last year of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" drew 3.7 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49, delivering the show's best numbers for any telecast in 1 year.
Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Jimmy's childhood best friend, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects.
