THE DAY BEFORE (4x60)
Fashion shows provide lots of glitz and glamour, but what happens behind-the-scenes, before the models take to the runway? In "The Day Before", international legends of style will open their doors with unprecedented inside access to the 36 hours prior to a designer's show. The series covers the global fashion calendar - from Sonia Rykiel celebrating her 40th Anniversary in Paris in October to Proenza Schouler's show in New York in February, Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld in Milan in March, and a surprise designer at the Haute Couture shows in Paris in July following each designer at this key moment when creativity and business come together. Each house has its own unique energy, mood, character and rhythm, and its fair share of moments of panic, last minute inspirations and ego-unleashing. "The Day Before" is directed by Loic Prigent (director of "Signe Chanel", "Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton") and produced by Deralf and Story Box Press.
BE GOOD JOHNNY WEIR (8x30)
This series features controversial three-time US Figure Skating Champion and 2006 Olympian, Johnny Weir. Considered a late bloomer, beginning his skating career at twelve years old, Weir has not only quickly become a popular sports icon, but also been recognized as a bold and irreverent personality. "Be Good Johnny Weir" will follow Johnny, his coach, friends, choreographers , costumer, and skating manager mom Patti Weir through the ups and downs of his career as he attempts to make it to his last Olympics in February 2010. The series is produced by David Barba, James Pellerito and Original Media (Miami Ink, LA Ink, The Philanthropist). Original Media CEO Charlie Corwin serves as an Executive Producer. Endemol, parent company of Original Media, will manage international distribution.
SPECTACLE: ELVIS COSTELLO WITH... (13x60)
"Spectacle: Elvis Costello with..." was a huge hit when it premiered on Sundance Channel in December 2008..
